Januari 2015
Één van onze goede voornemens dit jaar, was om elke maand een overzicht te maken van onze foto’s.
De tijd vliegt voorbij, Maar we hebben ons eerste overzicht nét klaar voordat de tweede maand afloopt.
Januari 2015
We zijn het jaar begonnen met allerlei festiviteiten: Reggine’s verjaardag, Lieneke’s babyshower, de nieuwjaars speech op de kwekerij, en het winnen van de Tuinbouw Ondernemers prijs. En dat alles alleen nog maar in de eerste week: Een goed begin is het halve werk!
Lieke is druk met het ombouwen van één van de huizen op de kwekerij tot een Guesthouse, dus Lieke en Mia zijn veel op de farm. Dit leidde er toe dat de meiden op kantoor een eigen schortje voor Mia hebben laten maken, zodat ze in stijl de kassen kan bezoeken.
Januari was heet en stoffig, en Mia heeft snel de geneugten ontdekt van waterijsjes, en van loungen op de schaduwrijke plekjes in de tuin.
Verder was er thuis nog even wat commotie, toen er letterlijk een zebra voor de deur stond. En Maua Moments is het jaar begonnen met het verzorgen van bloemen voor allerlei evenementen, zoals voor de Tribal Chic Fashion show, in het exclusieve Tribe Hotel.
One of our new year’s resolutions is to make monthly overviews of our photos.
Time is running though, and we only managed to make the first one JUST before the second month ends!
January 2015
We started off the year with lots of celebrations: Reggine’s birthday party, Lieneke’s babyshower, the New year’s speech at the farm, and celebrating the Victory of the Horticultural Entrepeneurs Contest! And all of this just in the first week: Start as you intend to go on I would say!
Lieke is busy converting one of the houses on the farm into a new Guesthouse, so Lieke and Mia spend a lot of time on the farm. This lead to the office girls organizing a proper apron for Mia, so that she can visit the farm in style from now on.
January has been hot and dusty, so Mia discovered the advantages of popsicles, and lounging in the shady spots of our garden.
We had some commotion at the house when a zebra literally showed up on our doorstep, and Maua Moments started of the year with some events, amongst which the Tribal Chic Fashion show at Tribe Hotel.
